Ted is a Senior Partner of St. James's Place, a Chartered Associate of the London Institute of Banking and Finance and the founder of Wilson Wealth Advisory. He advises legal and other professionals, entrepreneurs and people with complex affairs, helping them with practical solutions to the financial issues that concern them most.
Ted has practiced as a Financial Adviser since 2009. He started his career as a qualified lawyer at Norton Rose and then as an investment banker at SG Warburg, followed by being an entrepreneur, financial journalist and management consultant.
Ted’s clients tend to be in the areas where he has worked as well as the medical profession as both his parents were doctors.
Ted’s clientele includes a strong contingent of Law Partners due to his experience in law. Even though he is no longer practicing he has the knowledge of how it is to work in a major firm.
Advising private clients is the ideal way to combine his extensive professional experience with a love of helping individuals to navigate the complexities of personal finance and to improve their lives.
When not working, Ted likes to spend time with his husband and their wire-haired dachshund as well as skiing, hiking, cooking and travel.
